Sometimes I seem to be using my rescue inhaler a lot more frequently than other times. I have advair as nicely, which assists avoid attacks. What are some great approaches to manage my asthma so I have fewer attacks?

Answer by pennypincher
A cup of coffee assists my daughter with her asthma.

Answer by ManitobaRedhead
Drinking a good powerful cup of coffee is possibly a single of the greatest and easiest approaches to ward off an asthma attack when you feel 1 coming on. Having used inhalers and taken theodur for years, I once read in a Women’s magazine about prescription drugs, and found that the drug theodur employed for asthmatics is Extremely high in caffeine. Caffeine is a natural bronchio-dialator…..so sip a cup of Java at Tim Hortons or Starbucks, or at your personal kitchen table!

Answer by alleykhad
drink a lot of water

Answer by jonnyraven
You should start by figuring out what trigger your asthma attacks. If it is allergies you can take allergy medications and limit your exposure to allergens.

Answer by Darien B
Asthma attacks are brought on by various triggers. It could be pollen, perfume, dust etc. I very recomend getting a hepa filter for your house to help cut down on your exposure to factors in your property that could be triggering this.. It has really helped cut down our respiratory issues. The Advair has two wonderful drugs. The 1st is the 100, 250, or 500 and is steroid. The second number 50 is a Long term bronchodialator. The important for Advair is to take it religously or it wont support. Good Luck from a friendly Respiratory Therapist!

I have a household history of asthma: My dad, his dad and my pap. I have difficulty breathing and exercising and I sometimes cough a wheezing cough. Do I have asthma?

Answer by roach_lette227
– Cold Sympthoms:
Coughing
Sore throat
Runny, stuffy nose
Sneezing
Low-grade fever

– Flu Sympthoms:
Dry cough
High fever/chills
Blocked and/or runny nose
Aching muscles/joints feel bad all more than
Headache
Lack of appetite

– Asthma Sympthoms:
Coughing (especially at night)
Wheezing — a whistling sound when your youngster breathes
Rapid breathing, shortness of breath, or difficulty breathing
Tightness in chest

Answer by Stedy
Sounds like you could possibly have Asthma also. I would advise going to see a Medical doctor for that.
Asthma symptoms are fairly much what you have described (wheezing, shortness of breath, prolonged expiration and an irritated cough). The probabilities of creating Asthma can be elevated if someone in your family has it already. This was the case for me where my father and his 2 brothers all had it, so i also then suffered from Asthma.
My parents were reluctant to put me on typical drugs from such a young age (12 years) so rather they looked at natural methods to decrease the symptoms and attacks. Basicly i was advised by a natropath that there had been particular natural chemicals in foods that would decrease inflammation within the physique and that changing my diet program to include much more of these chemicals could support, it did. By eating specific fruits and vegetables as my standard diet regime significantly reduced the attacks i had. It went from getting an attack each two weeks to as soon as each and every 12 months. It took a handful of weeks for me to notice the modifications however once i did i never ever looked back. I nevertheless carried my inhaler everywhere with me nonetheless i was able to physical exercise, surf (asthma attacks although in the surf are terrifying) and do all the other items i loved with out worring so significantly.
Naturally i would see a doctor nonetheless i would also look at your diet plan to see if there are other preventative things that can be performed for small or no added price.

I just found this that might be of interest. It has a complete 60 day income back guarantee and is not high-priced anyway. It is not the very same book that i had as a kid nonetheless it sounds very similar.

http://tinyurl.com/bmsy3y

Excellent luck with it all

I am looking for a internet site that I can but my asthma medication, without having a prescription.
Do you know 1?
Please do not tell me to go to my physician as I have done that, but this time I have to get it on the web and with out a prescription.
and I want it to be shipped to Canada

Answer by Faith4jesus
I wouldn’t trust any place that would sell medication with out a prescription. I am quite sure that is illigal anyway.

A site that is breaking the law can call it asthma medication but who knows what it genuinely is.

The tv show the doctors did one thing like this then tested the meds they were given. Some of these meds had been antibiotics when they had been suppose to be discomfort pills. So let’s say someone who is allergic to penicillin ordered these and took them. It could kill them. Other meds had been only sugar pills.

Do you actually want to put your life or somebody else life on the line like that?

Answer by jenny
i woulds suggest you appear for your own you do not say why you have been refused your prescription from your DR i am a nurse and ive in no way identified any 1 to be refused medication from your DR for asthma or any other drugs that any a single is dependent on patients should know far better not to attempt purchasing there medication for asthma on line as this is a hazardous medication to take so what would you prefer to do kill yourself by buying something you do not have a clue what is in the stuff i wouldn’t buy something medicine of the net unless its a trustworthy company like boots or tesco or any leading firm you can trust there is much more to why you want this of the net but im sorry i wouldn’t put my neck on the line to aid kill yourself or any one particular you may want it for if it isn’t just for you we are here to assist you on yahoo not aid kill your self and this is what you are asking us to do sorry but use your prevalent Sense you go back to your DR and see if you can sort one thing out with him once again hope this aids you

Answer by Bco4th6th
You can relieve your asthma signs and symptoms by drinking two 8 oz glasses of water and dissolving 1/8 tsp of salt on your tongue.

Asthma is a complication of dehydration.

When the body senses a drought condition the water management technique tries to block any places exactly where it senses a leak and diverts water to the primary organs that depend on water to function appropriately such as the brain, liver and kidneys.

You shed approximately two 1/2 quarts of water every single day via respiration. The body senses this as water getting lost, and so it tries to block the holes.

Keeping your self appropriately hydrated will prevent asthma symptoms.

Click on the link beneath to learn how to do it properly.

Answer by Retired in Nevada
take a look at the web site we get from at low-cost-rx.com, i know they ship to the us and canada and their costs are normally extremely excellent and they do not call for any physicians paperwork (you can call or email them as verification)

Answer by Mary
Each and every person is different. Most doc ought to if not currently prescribe meds based on the national guidelines. It is evidence based and a stepwise approach to management

So my medication vary on my signs and symptoms. I have a rescue inhaler of xopenex and controller med of advair. Had been on singular but have not necessary. At present my asthma is well controlled. I have not used a rescue inhaler in more than 6 months. 8 years ago it was severe.

Answer by Pauly
1) I do not use a nebulizer–not however anyway.
two) I use Advair (a round disk inhaler for sustaining my lungs) Ventolin, which is my rescue inhaler (each tastes awful) and singular pills.

Answer by Adam Bo Batam
Possibly wil never grow out of it. Sounds like your asthma is under=treated. At minimum with these symptoms you must almost certainly be an an inhaled corticosteroid and an albuterol inhaler as necessary..

Answer by Anne
Asthma is an allergic attack in fact. You did not mention how significantly you weigh. It really is possible that if you are overweight, asthma is not the cause but sleep apnea maybe. This is a condition wherein you quit breathing for a handful of seconds since the airway are obstructed which is triggered by conditions like overweight. Getting in your perfect weight is of course helpful. But if you have asthma, you could also want to see your physician. Because waking up that way is not a very good condition.

how can i have an ashma attack

Answer by Alayna N
why would you want to have an asthma attack… its not that considerably fun…

if you have asthma, then just expose your self to your allergies.

if you don’t have asthma, then .. IDK

Answer by asthmahelp
Your asthma attack is induced by you becoming exposed to one particular of your asthma triggers. When you have asthma, your lungs and airways are overly sensitive to a single or a lot more distinct factors. These issues can be nearly something such as dust, specified foods, certain climate or even a change in the weather, allergens like pollen, stress, and so on. It can be nearly something.
The dilemma will be figuring out what your asthma triggers are. You will need to preserve track of what you had been carrying out, eating, etc before your asthma attack and then try to locate one thing in frequent every single time you have an attack.

Nuts have not induced me any problems, It depends what type of asthma folks have also. Many things can trigger a asthma attack. I have inhalers and medicine I can take if I really feel the need to have. If you are concerned concerning consuming nuts I would check with your M.D.Very good Luck.

Answer by rtforkids
Nuts are not negative for asthmatics unless you’re allergic to them.

Answer by Aurum
Unless you were like I was when I was small, they ain’t. The only reason they had been negative for me was I was allergic to nuts, AND asthmatic. I out grew the allergy loooooong just before my asthma calmed down.

Though if you are allergic to nuts AND asthmatic nuts can and will trigger an asthma attack (and a serious a single at that)
