Bronchitis indicates an infection. Go back to the doctor and report the chills and fever. You might need to have antibiotics.

Asthma is inflammation and constriction of the lower airways. Bronchitis is inflammation of the upper airway. In my years in the medical field, I have noticed that individuals with asthma are far more prone to finding bronchitis than those whom do not have asthma.
With bronchitis, you typically cough up a lot of phlegm.
A temp of 99 is not actually regarded as a temp. Most hospitals do not think about it a crucial temp until it is 103 or 104. I usually do not give meds to my children until it is 101 or 102. So 99 is not poor.
Now…asthma meds are identified to trigger heart burn or indigestion. So that is really feasible what you have. The symptoms sound just like it. Are you belching a lot? If so,is there a foul odor with your belch?
I hope this helped. Message me, if you want a lot more info. I will be super busy this weekend so I may possibly not be on Yahoo Answers much but I will be checking my email.
