I have horrible asthma, but I like to go to the fitness center and run/work out. It’s challenging though due to the fact my chest ends up hurting and I start off wheezing just before it can truly do much for me LOL. I take advair and I have an albuterol inhaler that I carry about with me, but is there anything else a doctor could do for me? A surgical process maybe?

There are no surgical procedures for asthma. The Advair may well be generating your asthma worse, when I took it that occurred to me. Something to do with one of the ingredients known as Salmeterol. Speak to your physician and see if you ought to alter medicines, some thing like Symbicort, Qvar, Singulair, etc.
