I use albuterol for my asthma, but lately I have been using it a lot more. I am not having an asthma attack, but wheezing, tightness lots of coughing. The puffer occasionally works, but only after like 4 or five puffs. I do not want to keep using it, but right now I do not have well being insurance coverage, so cannot go to the DR. I also have poor allergies…could that be why I am getting more difficulties?

Asthma can be provoked by a lot of issues. The most widespread culprit is cigarette smoke and dust. I recommend you give your room a deep clean, hoover the mattress and wash your bed sheets and so on to get rid of dust and dust mites. If there are any smokers in the home, send them outside! A lot of asthmatics have hayfever too so you can attempt to take some antihistamines if this is a problem for you.
It is crucial you control your asthma, it can quickly get much worse and you can finish up in hospital so it is much better spending money on a simple physician appointment rather than an high-priced hospital a single. You possibly need to have to get a stronger inhaler to take twice a day on top of the 1 you use atm.

My business partner had Asthma when he was a teen. He started to swim at the local pool and within a handful of years he no longer suffered from that condition. He even went into the Army and was stationed in Germany then, Korea. He swears it was the swimming that cured his Asthma.

i am in the same bost no ins but if keeps up go to the er also if you go through health dept in your state tell them you dont have ins you get a card from them go to the dr and what ever meds you need tell him to make it out for 3 months worth .you can get them at wal-mart 4.00 deal also there is a web site if you cant afford it http://www.rxhope/sepracor you get the papers and fill them out they also have a number to call but this is when asthma always flares weather heat pollen .i am 42 yrs old had this all my life and the meds i am on are alot like 150.00per inhaler this is why i am telling you about the presciption program and i dont mess with my asthma if you r using inhaler that much you need to go in good luck
It may be due to change in season and additional allergens in the air.
Also make sure you are using correct technique for your inhaler.
I think your allergies are contributing to your worsening asthma symptoms and if you can’t get to the Dr. at least get some over the counter allergy stuff, like Claritin. If you can get to a Dr. they may have samples they could give you, ask for them if you go.
